Terms & Conditions

Last updated 2 November 2026

Werewolf — The Village ("the Service") is provided by IFC Games ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with IFC Games. By using or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

A multiplayer party game played in the browser. Hosts with a Host Licence create game rooms; players join free with a room code. You must be of legal age to buy a licence, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

Hosts keep their sign-in details confidential, provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on their account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

  • using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or for spam;
  • uploading content (such as names or photos) that infringes others' rights or is offensive;
  • infringing our or anyone else's intellectual property;
  • interfering with security — malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering or getting around licence limits;
  • reselling or redistributing access.

Licence and ownership

A Host Licence gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to host games, one live game at a time. We keep all ownership of the Service, its software, artwork and branding.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refunds are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Refund policy.

Service level

We work to keep the game running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, refunds or chargebacks, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
